Many sites Adsense monitization sites will try to sell you this information in their Ebook’s or through mailing lists or other such tactics. Instead, Optimized Advertising has decided to give it to you for free.
One way that you can dramatically increase (or decrease if you’re not careful!) your CTR ratio using Google’s Adsense program is to simply enable the multiple color palettes option for your Ad Units.
When you are logged into your Adsense control panel, click the Adsense Setup button located on the top Toolbar. Now select the Manage Ads link from the secondary toolbar.
From here, Select the Ad Unit that you want to have multiple color palettes available and click on the Edit Ad Settings link.
Now go over to the color palettes dropdown list, and scroll all the way to the bottom. This is often missed by people as it’s sort of out of the way of normal configuration for Google Adsense.
Once you have selected this, the dropdown window will change into a text selection box letting you select up to four color schemes.
To select more than one color scheme, hold down on your CTRL key while selecting the color palettes. They will show up on the left hand side in the Adsense Preview for you to check out.
Easy eh? Now you can test out multiple color schemes in particular sections of your site or what have you. Great way to increase CTR and measure.
