A couple of weeks ago I was happy to receive a review copy of MegaPinger from the Mattseh at the WickedFire Forums. Fast forward a couple weeks, and I’ve finally had a chance to put it through the tests and see what it’s like for pinging massive amounts of links quickly, and efficiently. What came in the file? An executable, some text files, the license, and a pretty boring Readme file....
So, Last night I was practicing my DJ’ing and at about 2AM a text message came into my phone from a phone number located in british columbia, but with no name associated with it. The text message said; “Way to go dickwad, posting your phone number on facebook for all to see, you loser” To which of course, I replied with “Huh?” And I immediately received this auto reply “Welcome to Twilio SMS....
I’ve been pretty busy lately, with recently coming back from Ad:Tech in San Francisco and various small vacations here and there. Then of course, grinding’ my ass off getting a bunch of small projects done before summer starts. It’s cold up here in Canada most of the year in-case you weren’t aware – so we need to get as much sun as we possibly can! Just the other day, it occurred to me that there’s only a only a few short months left before Affiliate Summit East is happening and that it’s just about time to start thinking about it again....
So, I tried running this a while ago on a few networks. I was hoping the humor would get clicks, which, it did and lots of them, but no sales. It’s been quite a few months since I ran this so I’m just posting them up here cause I still think they’re funny. Rip them all you want, or better yet create your own ideas from them. Incase you’re wondering – yes, these were all approved everywhere I tried them....
I’m back with another case study. As you may remember from my previous ppc case study, I was working with just Yahoo for that campaign. With this new ppc campaign I instead went with Bing, Yahoo and Bidvertiser because I had a bit more money to drop on this test and wanted more data across the networks. Note that these numbers are from November 2009 through Jan 2010, and I’m still working on this campaign so I still won’t be telling y’all what I’m actually running with....
