Problems Migrating Prosper202 Between Two Linux Hosts?

Today I was faced with migrating my P202 installation from one host to another. As normal, I ran the mysqldump command on the old server to dump the database and scp’d it over to my new host – went to import and I got a bunch of errors like this; ERROR 1016 (HY000): Can't open file: './202_SITENAME/202_locations_block.frm' (errno: 24) ERROR 1016 (HY000): Can't open file: './202_SITENAME/202_locations_block.frm' (errno: 24) ERROR 23 (HY000): Out of resources when opening file '....

Why I switched from OpenX to Google DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP)

Megapinger Review

A couple of weeks ago I was happy to receive a review copy of MegaPinger from the Mattseh at the WickedFire Forums. Fast forward a couple weeks, and I’ve finally had a chance to put it through the tests and see what it’s like for pinging massive amounts of links quickly, and efficiently. What came in the file? An executable, some text files, the license, and a pretty boring Readme file....

Why It’s Important to Meet Other Affiliates Face To Face

A couple summers ago, I met this cat at Affiliate Summit East. Since then we’ve talked more on the Internet, and even partnered on a few ventures and had some moderate success. We also met up occasionally at conferences too. Last week, he happened to have some time available so he came up to chill in Canada for about 9 days. My friends and I took him out to some local clubs, and showed him a bit of the scenery by going to my cottage up in Quebec....
