SBS 2003 Disable Sync of Certain Offline Files like .PST or .MDB

Today I was noticing that some clients on the network were experiencing errors when users logged out and windows synced for them. In order to fix this, I had to do the following: TS to SBS Server Navigate to \\SBS\netlogon Edit the SBS_LOGIN_SCRIPT.bat file in this directory. Echo and Volume Tweaks for Asterisk using RXGAIN and TXGAIN

One of our friends contributed this today. A quick howto on how to configure TXGAIN and RXGAIN on Asterisk 1.4. Now, he’s got a analogue trunks from Bell Canada, so YMMV and you will almost certainly have to change all of the values mentioned here to be customized to your environment. From what we’ve read, some phone companies may even know this information when you call one of their tech’s and ask for it, bypassing the need for this work all together....

New Service Lets Canucks Opt Out of Telemarketing. Yay!

Registering to Asterisk Behind Cisco Routers

Tonight a buddy and myself were playing with Asterisk. In order for him to be able to register to my server from outside my network we had to make some changes to my router.
