The other day you may have read my post about creating a tool to easily replace all our affiliate links across multiple sites with one easy to use database. While this program does rock your socks off, it didn’t have a GUI so it was a little more difficult for people to use. But that’s okay. I’ve created a backend for the application that works using Flexigrid and Jquery to provide a super easy way to update your database from a backend, and flip out your links instantly....

Tonight I was watching Die Hard 4. Near the beginning of the movie I thought I noticed something the hacker character was doing, so I rewinded a bit to see if I had. Sure enough… There was this guy setting up an affiliate marketing site.. on his cool computer with lots of icons.. and it was a FLOG!!! Seen at. 00:07:45. Hey, Just sayin'. Today I was spending time updating some of the links across my sites that were setup in htaccess files, or in the virtual host files for redirects to my affiliate links. I was getting super bored, and a little bit pissed off. Then I thought to myself, why am I not automating this so I only have to go to one place to update all the links across my sites....

I had to write this short post about a wicked contest that I participated in recently, and actually won something. The contest was sponsored by Affiliate Summit and Legacy Learning Systems. This particular contest was for the already famous Affiliate Day celebration which just launched its inaugural year this past September 14th. All I had to do to win was tweet a message including the affiliate day twitter hash-tag in the message, and then sit back and wait to see if I would win....

Found this pretty cool tool last night. It’s free, and you can use it to check page rank of all pages on a given domain. I ran it through one of my sites with about 2k pages, and it seemed to be successful. Thought it might help some of you too if you’re selling links. Download it here.
